As part of the BBC’s Gay Britannia season Mark Gatiss curated a series of monologues entitled 'Queers'. The monologues were performed at the Old Vic theatre and shown on BBC 4 during end July - early August. One of the monologues is the wonderful 'Safest Spot in Town' written by Keith Jarrett and starring Kadiff Kirwan. The play was inspired by my research on Patrick Nelson and the play's character Fredrick is based on Patrick. You can view the monologue on BBC iplayer
